While it is in place, you are still able to regain control over the domain and renew it, but this time, you need to <strong>pay a hefty redemption <\/strong><\/span><strong>fee<\/strong> that could go up to hundreds of dollars, depending on the registrar.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you fail to renew the domain during the redemption period, it will be sent to the domain registry for deletion. Eventually, it will be released for registration once again, but nobody can say when that will happen.
