The exact process depends on what sort of service you need to upgrade\/downgrade to.<\/p>\n<p>For example, if you want to upgrade to a more powerful shared plan, the transfer is pretty much instantaneous. Our system will automatically activate the new package as soon as you process the invoice.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to move from a shared plan to a VPS, however, you will need to have your website transferred from one server to another. To help you out, we can offer a transfer to the new VPS completely free of charge. All you need to do is submit a ticket to our technical support experts who will migrate the website for you and will ensure that it&#8217;s working correctly. All this without even a second of downtime.<\/p>\n<p>Bear in mind that you cannot perform the upgrade or downgrade if there is a renewal invoice generated for the hosting service. Please submit a ticket to our billing specialists if that&#8217;s the case.
